Observed subject appears to be an average-Joe type of
person. Not of athletic built nor of obese body type either. Ethnic backgrounds
appears to be of Chinese descent, however further background research have
yielded that the subject grew up in the peninsular country of Malaysia.
The subject has dedicated his life to the continual joy of
a certain female subject, called Cassandra Lee, who hails from the eastern side
of the country Malaysia.
Subject is mostly seen around the Psychology department in
Auckland University, which draws us to the conclusion that the subject follows
the teachings of Psych, founder of the cult that practices ritual sacrifices by
luring people into thinking that they are merely doing "research". Now it has
been known to call itself "Psychology".
On the right are daily reports seen from a first person
view of the subject. We have concluded within our report that the subject's
memory of everything that can threaten our further activities within this region
has been successfully erased by project "Eraser". Further observations of
subject is not required.
Well mom's going to be coming home tomorrow... So I hope that I've cleaned the house sufficiently for me to keep my head on my shoulders... If I don't update post friday, someone please send the cops to check my house for my headless body... thanks. haha
Meh... Spent the last two nights sleeping on the couch since I'm afraid that my bed will crumble beneath my weight again. Ended up having a real bad neckache, hope Aaron can fix it up when he adjusts me tomorrow. Man going for chiropractic care is expensive! 20 bucks for me and I still don't have a job. Anyway as if it couldn't get worse, my washing machine doesn't work... so right now I have a bunch of dirty clothings that I can't wash unless I take them to the city, grrr....
Man searching for a job here in NZ is not easy... everything requires experience, I think I can see why alot of people who migrate here and get their citizenship will in turn go to Australia to get a job there.
Come on, let's face it, New Zealand is a small country, there are very limited job opportunities and everything requires experience. This is basically a catch 22 for anyone who is looking for a job. How can anyone get experience before they get a job? Once again, very difficult to find a job
Gosh I can feel the fat jokes coming in soon... but yes this is what happened to my bed while I was sleeping. This is the second time this has happened already, once when I had just woke up, stretched and the floor literally shook under me. The second time was last night when I sat on it with my bowl of cereal, intending to watch some Stargate and then it broke right under me. Sigh, and I have to fix it up again. Wonder when the next time it will break, maybe I should do something to strengthen the wood holding the bed up.
Anyway, had some weird dream again last night. This time it involved growing something mold in petri dishes which eventually evolved to have some animal qualities. Like there was a dish which could be identified as having lion qualities and some that had elephant qualities... So what we did was put them all togetyher and had them fight. At the end of it all we had a fish in a fish tank that was not previously there. This fish had black spots on it's body and looked something like a female swordtail fish. It was small but aggressive. It would take on the bigger fishes like a fighting fish, locking mouths and it would bully smaller fishes.
Then I woke up on my couch because my bed was in such a bad shape... oh well, mum's coming back in 3 days and I have to clean up the house or it's my head on a spear. Will have to do something about the bed, I think the nails aren't deep enough that's why it keeps falling... gosh
Well went to watch this movie with Cassie yesterday in Westfield St Lukes, quite a nice chick flick. Now for those who have not watched this movie, I would recommend that you stop here if you plan on watching this movie in the near future as what I will be saying will definately have some spoilers in it.
First of all I found it very interesting that the guy she liked was called George (Edward Burns). Because in the series Grey's Anatomy, she is also in love with a guy called George, and once again, she's the "other" woman. Now the very interesting thing about this movie is that it shows men and women in a stereotypical way; it's Kevin, the male protoganist, (James Marsden) is critical about the whole idea of marriage while Jane, it's female protagonist, (Katherine Heigl) who is absolutely in love with weddings and marriage. I think it would be interesting if the roles were reversed and it was the female protagonist who felt negatively about marriage. To me the movie also did not build up sufficiently on Marsden's character as it only showed him at work, interviewing Heigl and antagonising her character no end. It feels just a little empty when they marry at the end because it seems like the audience knows just about everything regarding Heigl's character while knowing almost nothing about Marsden's character, such as what happened to his ex-wife and things about his past, etc.
The other interesting thing that I found about this movie was when Tess (Malin Akerman) starts dating George. I found this very interesting because it showed how Jane tried to keep her emotions bottled up inside her to avoid hurting her sister and to keep the peace in the family. Somehow I feel that alot of women actually do this, bottling up their problems to keep the peace in the family instead of getting it out in the open and finding solutions on how to fix it. I was very amazed at how Jane was able to watch her sister flirt and date George, the man that she has been pining for, and eventually marry him without saying a word until the last second. And even then it took a major even for her to finally say tell George the truth about her sister.
Now although this movie is a straight forward chick flick and you can roughly imagine what will happen next, it does have its merits in having small unpredictable twists. The one that really got my mouth gaping was when Tess actually cut up her mother's wedding dress and used 2 minute parts of it on her wedding dress. That completely took me by surprise because this added a whole new dimension to Tess' character which was unseen previously.throughout the movie. That left me quite shocked when I saw that.
But the most amazing part of this story is when you compare both Tess' relationship with George and Jane's relationship with Kevin. The whole theme of starting a relationship based on lies and truth are shown here. Now I find this very interesting because Jane lies to Tess and puts on a mask in front of her, one that seeks her baby sister's happiness while sacrificing her own. However, she is absolutely truthful to Kevin. Tess on the other hand builds her relationship with George based on what she thinks he would like her to be like, while being herself in front of Jane. Well, in the end her relationship with George ended on the night of the wedding when the truth about everything came out into the open.
Lastly, when George kissed Jane at the end, and both of them said that they didn't feel anything, I found it very interesting to note that there seemed to be an emphasis on the spark of love there, something that seems to run amok in many Hollywood movies. Personally I find love more than just an emotion and a feeling, one that can be here today and gone tomorrow. Unfortunately this seems to be the whole Hollywood idea that is being fed to the next generation, that love is no more than a feeling, chemistry, a spark between two people which might or might not be there. I found it very very funny when this happened because throughout the whole movie, excpet for when Jane got drunk, she was pining after George and when she finally kissed him, she realised that there was no chemistry between them and therefore she runs into the arms of Kevin. It's weird, but what can I say... it's a chick flick.
Gosh plagued by weird dreams again... you know... sometimes in life, you look back at what has happened and what could have happened... and you really wonder why you did what you did...
once again.. my stupidity has led me to become much poorer... today just because i wanted to do some housework outside the house.. i managed to lock myself out and try as i might to call my brother in hopes that he might be able to come back and open the door for me, it was to no avail since i have no idea what the hell he does with his phone, but apparently answering it isn't one of them.
it cost me $80 to get the lock sawed off and replaced by one that i had at home, and here we go, an idiot called and didn't say anything, so i just said hello and shouted at that idiot, then i put down the phone... ffs to idiots. anyway feeling so pissed today, woe to the idiot who crosses my path.
IT'S WET!! IT'S RAINY!!! IT'S AUCKLAND!!!! yeah it's true.. it's the auckland weather and it's supposed to be summer... at least cassie shed some light on the situation when she said that the hurricane was passing through the north island...
anyway, this weather started sometime last night and hasn't let up ever since. and we had to move cassie's stuff from my place to her new place in the city, in between railway campus and the shell station in parnell. it's quite a nice place, huge lounge and everything... cass even spent 1.8k last week to get her lounge set and her new double bed mattress + frame, although the frame wasn't exactly the same as the one in the store... the store's frame was of a better material, reckon i could sue for false marketting?? haha
gosh it's so noisy here in elly's place.. crazy people running around the city shouting without any consideration for other people who might want to sleep... gah...
so... dave and kelvin came at 12.30 and started moving cassie's things, including her lazyboy... which means that my computer is now lacking a chair and i need to get one... hahah well... if you have no idea how much stuff cassie has.. imagine a double bedroom and boxes that take up 3/4 of that space. now the bedroom is void of anything except cassie's stuff ok... so yeah... that's how much we had to move in the rain today... but at least we managed to get it done quickly haha thank God for that.
anyway just joined this thing called payperpost... supposed to be something where advertisers can post on blogs.. seems interesting.. let's see if it works.
